Busy trail but pretty. If you want the trail guide, DON’T enter from Avenue of the Giants.

I wouldn’t call this a hiking trail. It’s just a beautiful stop to stretch your legs and see the amazing trees. The fallen trees and root systems were cool to look at. The restrooms here are also nicer than most trail heads in the area.

Incredible and easy trail. Gives you some of the best redwoods without much effort. Try the foot trailer off the main one. There are treasures all over this place. Will defiantly be back.

Nice little trail, just off the road, which really puts into perspective the size of these beautiful trees

We arrived before the crowds at 10am on a Saturday. The place was magical. Felt like we entered a different reality. The magic was gone once people arrived and added human noise.

It's just like the other trails in the area...big trees that make you look small.

It is nice if you like nature as if fallen trees and everything that nature is. The trail is very easy and scenic also the weather is nice and cool. You can see many trees including the founders tree.

Beautiful hike. I was only bummed because there was not a brochure that told us about the number.

Was fun because you got a tour sheet which told you where to stop and gave you a blurb. Very flat, easy to do. Would suggest

Beautiful trail. Lots of people recommended Mahan over this one, but there are pros and cons to both. Mahan is quieter, Founders has a great guide with accompanying plaques to learn about the amazing trees.

Absolutely breathtaking but found it hard to fully appreciate with the crowds. Definitely go (because the grove is truly beautiful) but break away from the crowds for a while and take a less heavily trafficked path like Mahan’s Plaque Loop, which we loved even more.

Easy stroll through the redwoods with beautiful views. We did see a lot of poison oak off to the side of the trail so watch out for that.

One of the more frequented trails in the state park. Great bathrooms by the parking lot. The trail is handicap accessible. We took my mother-in-law around the loop in a transport wheelchair with no problems.

There are a number of side trips. We went to the Mahon Trail and then over the hill and under the freeway to the Women's Federation Grove and back.

Any hike among the Redwoods is one to be cherished. These trees truly take your breath away and leave you speaking in hushed voices, if you speak at all. It's great for all ages and abilities. Do not miss this opportunity among the giants
