My favorite redwood grove. The trees are spaced just far enough apart for you to appreciate how tall the redwoods really are.

The Founders Grove Trail is a short, level hike through old growth redwood forest. The highlight of the hike is the 350-foot Founders Tree, which is just awe-inspiring.

If you're in the park, this trail is absolutely worth your time.

Ok so by my standards this isn't a hike. However if you want a short walk to stretch or move around for a bit do not pass this place up! This Forrest is absolutely amazing, the history in the pamphlet with the spots numbered is rather neat as well, just goes to show you how much history is among these giants. Super humbling experience to be among these trees!
