I don't know why this trail isn't more popular than it is. Jaw-dropping spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, and Marin county. Much prettier, I think, than the more popular spots on the other side of 101. Plus, you can explore the historic batteries in the area, and there's a children's museum if you want to make a full day with the kids.
