What they show here is actually the trail to Brokeoff, where the lake is located just off-trail. But, the winter trail begins next to the Visitor's Center & winds its way up to the lake & is a moderate snowshoe hike to beautiful scenery---mounds of snow, covering trees & boulders, an iced-or-snowed over lake, sometimes with the meandering creek visible, with options of easy ski or boarding.
