Overall really happy with this trail. This area is clearly marked with PG&E property signs (some appeared broken along the trail, yellow). I did see roughly 50 people in total throughout the day, majority at the dam jumping off the edge (myself included). You have the option to park at the end of this dusty road ending at the dam. I chose to park where the Alltrails directed and hiked about 2.65 miles to the dam. IF YOU PARK AND HIKE, GO LEFT AT THE FIRST FORK TO GET TO THE DAM (I don't know what's to the right). It's cool seeing the rusted, worn pump stations. Walking above the pipes parallel to the river with a fantastic view along the way. All of this resulting in some fun and relaxation in the water.

This is the head dam. Awesome place to hang and swim. My advice to park at the gate and drive a quad or some type motorcycle down cause the hike up is hard. Going down-is fine .... but coming up hurts lol. Once you get down there is quite beautiful. Great swimming hole. You can jump off the dam the water is pretty deep. You can even walk behind the waterfall if you know where the spot is to go under it. Up the river is Whiskey Flatts where you can find the naked lady . Dont worry about being on the road going down to the Head Dam or PgE. Everyone uses this road and Has for years.

Multiple washouts approximately 3/4 mile downstream of the Head Dam. Significant structural damage to flumes and surrounding trails, flumes are either totally destroyed or very unstable (fire damage and rock slides). Large transient camps at about a mile downstream.... really not a safe place to be currently. RIP flumes, sad to see such a beautiful place destroyed.

There are several elevated walkways or bridges. I think the pictures for the North trail and South trail got mixed.
