This was a short hike (3.4 mi) along the big creek out of Fish Camp. The short hike up the local road, then turned onto the fire road.  The trail looked to be mostly a horse trail and was not clearly marked. From the top of the hill, hike down to the creek which is flowing heavily this rear due to the rain and snow. In fact, it snowed the nite before our hike, so it was enchanting (and muddy due to the horses). Big Creek is was pleasant as the pictures show.

Beautiful hike. Saw no other hikers. Great for kids. 1/2 pf the hike is along a stream, lots of opportunities for kids to climp on rocks.
