I've done this hike a few times this season and I have to say it is one of my favorites! It's just a pleasant way to spend a day! That doesn't mean that it's an easy hike because it's not!! I say pleasant because it has such a great compliment of elements that many trails only have parts of! I love the view from the summit, especially at night. One thing that I tell everyone who wants to hike this trail, but hasn't, is be ready for the last 0.3 mile stretch to the summit! It's deceiving when you look at it but don't be fooled, it'll kick your butt! Especially after all of the switchbacks you just came up! The trail forks off to the left and goes to Etiwanda peak so make sure that you STAY TO THE RIGHT!

Anyway, I can't express how much I like is trail! It's a day great hike!
