This is primarily for bikes. We actually went off trail and went back down fern because we felt like we were in the way!

We wanted to come before the crowds, but even though we came at 7 am, there were about 100 people in one spot and we had to stop every quarter of a mile. :(

Mountain bikingGreat!

Started from golf club and ascended up, and be cautious it’s a highly trafficked single track. The whole time i made sure to look ahead and hear for on coming riders. Wanted to go up till the painted barrels but stopped and descended from east rd. The downhill has a good flow with berms, roots, and little jumps. The only downside is there’s a bit of blind corners where bikers and hikers pop out of no where and derail you off coarse. Definitely not a place to send it downhill. Oh yeah, I recommend going with others if you don’t feel comfortable with the dozens of homeless camps around the area.

great for biking. walkers may want to avoid, or be very aware of bikers travelling up and down....ALL DAY LONG! I would also stay on trail, unless you wanna go hang in the homeless camps.

Beautiful trail however the homeless encampments and trash ruined the experience. Poison oak is everywhere. We walked the trail and I did not feel safe. It’s a great trail for biking. We were the only ones walking on the trail.

This trail is very busy and not good for walking as there are bikers every minute or so. If you dont mind dealing with speeding bikes you will be ok. I suggest Wilder Ranch a few minutes away. It has wide trails and easier to share.

The trail itself is good - shaded/cool, good length. we share road with bikers. But, we tried a different route on our way back (probably via golf club drive) and see many homeless signs/people. also poison oaks make skin itchy.
