The trail is basically flat ground, paved and there are many little work out challenges along the trail which adds to the challenge. It is very much wheel chair accesible and to top it off there are a lot of cute dogs everywhere!

Trail is paved but has a lot of cute doggies. The trail consists of walking or cycling. Along the route there will be fun family friendly diversions like the “Advanced Challenges” and planetary walk.

This trail is a concrete trail that goes longer than expected but still feels a bit underwhelming compared to the park across the road. It is definitely more geared towards fitness, as most people jog or bike the trail. It’s all concrete and while it does not take you directly to the lake in the middle, you can still have a view of it and go afterwords. There is plenty of parking and lots of birds and geese. There are even little workout station to the side at every quarter mile or so. The parking price of 5 dollars gets you into both parks, and the one across the street closes early so I would recommend the one across the street first since it’s the superior setting and trail. Once finished with that, hop on over to this trail of you want more (most people won’t). Try both out. Come to this one for fitness and use the other one for sightseeing, a wilderness vibe, and adventure.

I have done the nature trail several times with my 3 kids (ages 6,4,3). There are 3 different loops, the longest is about 2 miles. This is a great starter if you want to get your kids into hiking. There’s a lot of shade and animals. Great starter trail.
