Lots of poison oak to left and right of the hiking path. Dry. About 60% of the trail is shaded and about 70% of people wear a mask.

Did the entirety of Edgewood Park excluding the where the rattle snake was laying in the trail. Didn’t want to disturb it.

Some pretty views of the bay and surrounding mountain ranges. Not too heavily trafficked which was nice. Overall, not jaw dropping - but good hike that's easily accessible for Silicon Valley locals.

View is good. For the sylvan trail, it is only one direction, or so it seemed, we had difficulty finding the one direction trail markings. Good balance of steep and easy walking. Good tree coverage. Was a sunny day about 78 degrees.

Overall it’s a good trail. Has a good mix of inclines and flats and declines. The open areas can get pretty hot but there’s also a decent mix of shaded areas and open areas. Good cardio and lots of trail options

Nice trail with some good views. There were a few one ways because of Covid so the route as drawn is not possible to do. Otherwise a great quiet hike.

Very nice trail! Kids friendly. It’s about 3.2 miles and it took us about 2 hours to finish it with my 8 and 6 year old. There is maybe a 0.5 mile where is up the hill but it’s nothing crazy. We saw lots of beautiful flower in March and got lucky to see a deer.

A really nice, chill trail! Beautiful greenery and various flowers. Heard different kinds of birds chirping- spotted a couple, too. Well managed and easy to navigate. Although a part of it ran above a highway, it was still beautiful to see the rolling hills. We went while it was still sprinkling and it was very enjoyable!

Perfect for a nice run. Starts with some incline to get warmed up. Most of it is covered and there’s some cool views along the way.

Nice afternoon hike. Some freeway noise but ok. Nice views of the peninsula, bay and crystal springs skyline. Totally doable.
