Did this as a solo hike but had a horrible time trying to find the trail. I tried following the GPS as best I could, but there was no discernible trail the entire way up. Also, it's incredibly steep. If there were well maintained switchbacks this would be a 5 star hike. The view was beautiful - lots of waterfalls, great view of Tahoe and the Angora Lakes.
