The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

if you do this hike stay on the seven lakes basin trail then cross country to echo lake from lower seven lake but also be advised echo lake is all private it is posted every where

This shouldn't be it's own listing bc the trail it shows doesn't exist beyond where the PCT branches off and you're supposed to head down to the lakes. What you have to do is follow the Seven Lakes Basin trail, which isn't obvious unless you wander around for a while. The trail listed here would take you down some steep shale non-clear paths that are dangerous at best. Better off following seven lakes basin and heading back up to echo lake.
