Beautiful easy trail but since it’s a crowded route a reservation is required due to covid. You can find more info online. You’re gonna cross the river a few times so make sure you have proper shoes.

You need to make a reservation in advance fairly easy to do. No fee. Easy hike. Climb over some rocks required. Wear waterproof shoes you will have to cross through the stream. Team work required if you have little kids. Yet my son loved it.

It looked like it would be cool but all the gates are still closed, I think you need a reservation for the main gate.

I took my 4 year old granddaughter on this hike and we did a scavenger hunt along the way. We did have to make a reservation to access the canyon which actually made using the trail so much better! The crowds were completely contained and we had plenty of room to social distance. I would recommend trying to get an early entrance slot as the hike back in the heat of the day can be brutal. Getting to the waterfall can be a bit confusing. Just ask others who are coming down for directions and you'll get there. Just remember that the trail actually goes under the bridge and will require some walking in the river and crossing the river but it is all very easy. Once you make it to the waterfall, plan on taking a seat and just settling in for a bit. It is a great place to eat and rest before going back. My granddaughter played in the water for over an hour and loved it. I would recommend this trail, even for dogs.

Great trail that leads to waterfall. Crosses the stream multiple times, bring proper footwear and be prepared to jump from rock to rock or balance on the fallen trees. First little part has limited shade, but rest is very shaded.

Beautiful hike. Plenty of shade once you get closer to the waterfall. Worth it.

Easy and beautiful falls, but SO disappointed in the filth and disrespectful hikers. Filth, graffiti, people playing loud music on portable speakers in a beautiful setting. The trail is not maintained well by whomever takes care of it. Shame on the people who visit this and ruin it for everyone else.

I would recommend this hike because it’s very easy to get to the waterfall but the only problem is that it’s FLOODED WITH PEOPLE. I went last week on a Sunday and there were literally 800+ people in the trail. And tons of people were crowded by the waterfall itself so I didn’t really get to view the waterfall personally. I don’t know when it is a good time to go but if anyone knows please let me know.
