Dyar Springs trail badly overgrown with poison oak north of the Juaquapin trail. still some snow.
Awesome trail. Better during spring most likely. A bit muddy after the rains but fun to be in the snow a bit. Bring hiking poles for so of the terrain that’s slushy. Otherwise a fabulous hike. We extended it a bit as well. More photos on Instagram at stephanie.sandiego
Lots of water in the creek and wildflowers still in bloom all over the meadows.
We ended up doing a longer variation of the hike mapped out here. The weather was nearly perfect and the hike was beautiful and serene. We only passed 3 other hikers and that was in the last 2 miles of our 8.5 miles day. Would definitely like to do this one again.
