This trail enters the Indio Hills badlands and traverses the San Andreas Fault exposing twisted and tortured rocks that have been uplifted and moved over millions of years. The trail enters several narrow slot canyons and twists and turns in the sandy washes before climbing up to the ridge with panoramic views of the entire Coachella Valley.

Wonderful hike with amazing views! This is certainly one of my favorites. Park in the gravel lot and then look for the small hike marker that leads to the entry. The rest of the hike is well marked.

What a surprisingly great hike! Loved it. Well marked trail with amazing views of the valley. Lots of narrow canyons as well as hiking along top crests of hills.

An excellent hike. Great views. A hidden treasure. Make sure you hike the loop left to right because the trip down on the right is much steeper. Took us 2.5 hours without rushing.
