This is a great hike for a new hiker or if you just have an hour and want to get out I to the desert. Pretty views and a nice place to sit and eat lunch.

Wouldn't consider this loop a hike, but a nice little walk on dirt. Would like to explore the trails further in this area.

Beautiful trail! Cute little picnic bench area on the trail. You can see it to the right of the parking lot (look for the large palm trees).

Definitely great for mountain bike riding. The walk with the dog around the only trail that allows dogs was decent for being easy. The heat was more challenging then walk. We kept a fast pace all the way around, with one or two sniff breaks. I like that there are dog bag kiosks, trash bins and recycling bins. Towards the end of the trail for my route, on the west entrance/exit, there is a shaded picnic area and drinking fountains for you and your pets.

Loved the trail. There is a spot on the trail with shade, water, and trash/doggie bag bins.

Nice short easy walk. Dogs on leashes are allowed but just like always, we saw several owners that let their dogs running free and off any leash.. also came across two piles of dog crap left right on trail.. What a shame

Took the Cub scouts on this hike, if 6-9 year old can do it, so can you.

Great open hike with only two moderate elevation changes. I took my dog who loved smelling all the desert creosote and sage (bee careful of the bees on the sage!). Nice covered rest area about half way thru. Careful of broken glass by the tables if you have a dog with you. Nice views. Went around noon on a Tuesday, mid-May and only passed four groups total. Although it's only a short distance, you'll need more water than you think! I should add that I am a beginner:)
