This isn't a real trail and goes on to private property. Supposedly the land is going to be donated and a real trail put in that will meet up with the Ellie Lane/ Iron Mountain Trail.

Bring a machete if you go. Finding your way up to the ridge is kind of fun and the giant rock face doesn't seem as big once you get up there. You can see a good chunk of Ramona from the top.

Fun short hike with some steep rocky climbs. Great view from the top.

The trail head is in the south west corner of Dos Picos County Park. It's not a defined or marked trail, but there is a way up to the top almost.

does anyone know where the trail head is....? followed the directions and ended up in a park where the rangers had never heard of it.
