An easy hike to get to Eagle View, which is stunning; the snow covered mountain peaks off in the distance and the valley below are a beautiful panorama. The sequoias along the way of the quiet, peaceful walk are awesome, too!

I absolutely loved this trail. The views are stunning and barely any people on the trail. Seeing a hawk soar across the open space while looking at the Great Western Divide has become one of my favorite Sequoia moments. We were so tempted to just keep going on the High Sierra Trail and see all it has to offer. Definitely coming back to this trail and this spectacular view.

It's alright, did this along with much more on the high sierra trail. It was nice to view this just before sunset, but if you are hiking the whole thing and start before sunset, don't stop there as you will find other good view point

The views of the high Sierra from this point are absolutely breathtaking.

For some reason the crowds at Crescent Meadow don't seem to come out this way, which is a terrific thing... The view is better along this trail than from Moro Rock and you don't have the guard rails and crowds. Another plus is that you can extend this hike many miles out past Eagle View on the High Sierra Trail without adding a lot of elevation change. The Sequoia Trees at the beginning are also quite nice since you can get up close and personal.
