Wonderful trail, highly recommend going toward the winter given all the dried up river beds. Definitely not an easy trail! to eagle rock is about 1.9 mi with ALL of the elevation gain on the way there.

The whole trail is not so long and takes around 2-3 hours for round trip. The view is good but the trail sign is quite few. And there is few people walking on this trail so make sure go back before sunset. The eagle rock lookout is very good.

There are two trails leading to Eagle rock. One through ‘lil basin campground entrance (no parking lot as such) & other one (much shorter paved trail) connects through Empire Grade road (near Lehi recreation park). If it’s getting dark/too late, would suggest the shorter route otherwise, regular eagle rock trail is way amazing and recommended.
