This is a good way to see Eagle Rock without backtracking. (You could do Garapito to avoid any duplication but I find that a little too much.) Start off at Marvin Braude and go Left onto Mulholland. Take this to Bent Arrow which is a great hike path etched into the side of the mountain. Bent Arrow brings you to Temescal Canyon Road. Take this to the three way fork and take the trail most to the right all the way to Eagle Rock. Instead of heading back the way you came, follow the path the Eagle Springs Fire Road back to Temescal Canyon Road, going the low road to the left and back home.
