Works out to 10.8 on my Garmin . Beautiful hike with some serious elevation gain that will kick a novice hikers butt. Make sure to bring poles for boulder field . A previous poster said the road needs a car with clearance but really if you pick your lines in the few areas that were bumpy you will be fine . Sign did say they are shutting down road on October 30th 2019 so unless you go in next two days it’s not going to happen till next season. Oh, do yourself a favor on the way through Three Rives and stop at the brewery and grab a celebratory pint for finishing the hike . PS. Another poster had stated if you do only one then do Eagle Lake , he is correct . You really should do both though , the views are amazing

Climbed White Chief Peak, Hengst Peak, and Eagle Lake Peak(?) Before heading over the ridge between Eagle Lake and Mosquito Lake to link up with the trail back to Mineral King out of Mosquito Lake. Over 5,000 feet gain and lots of awesome views.

I'd also suggest doing both lake instead of one. If you do only one, do eagle
