trail was really hard to follow. poor signage and poor mapping to the all trails map.
nice walk, mostly in the shade. you can hit a river beach and the observation decks
Great trail! Many different types of terrain. Definitely bring lots of water as a good portion of the hike is through sand with little shade. There was a bunch of people so arrive early. If not no worries you can park on the road outside of the park and walk in.
Most of the trail is very underwhelming. The 0.8 Redwood loop is the best part. Can get crowded during the later morning and early afternoon. Beware of horse manure!
Dogs only allowed on pipeline road, or other fire roads. Most other trails are not dog friendly. Beautiful views and forest shade. Nice pathway.
