Great trail. Lots of change of scenery and smell like eucalyptus

Nice trail, lots of shade. Very secluded once you're in, beginning and end are a nightmare. People not wearing masks and many dogs off leash. Crazy during a pandemic! Overall nice walk

this a good trail for social distancing. there is almost always six feet to pass someone. I went clockwise which out most of my uphill at the beginning, so it was a little easier. Nice variety and views. There are lots of places to shorten or lengthen the trail. Plenty of shade.

done it both clockwise and counterclockwise, and it's a little bit more of a workout if you go counterclockwise.

A really nice hike! Took me 2 hours including a brief stop to use the restroom in the Redwood Bowl (the highest point of the trail). Lots of off leash dogs on a Saturday, as others have mentioned. There are some mud puddles after the recent rains but the trail is wide enough to go around them with no trouble. There’s some really nice views across the valley at a few spots where the trees open up along the ridge line.

Beautiful hike and great views. Not as many redwoods as I would have liked.

Great brisk walk with the doggo. A bit muddy in places but nothing you can’t handle.

This hike really turned my whole week around. There was a lot to see, intermittent shade and sun, and a whole range of trees. I went on Saturday, so there were a fair amount of people with their families and or dogs, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I’m definitely coming back soon.

Lots of well behaved dogs off leash. Lots of mild up and downs, not too strenuous. A good mix of shade and sun. Overall a lovely trail.

Pretty easy trail with some elevation gain but nothing too strenuous. Very well marked.

Great trail. Lots of off-leash dogs. My dog is well-socialized, so she liked it a lot. One warning: the hairpin turn from the Baccharis trail to the Dunn trail is not marked and easy to miss. Got a bit lost needlessly.

Easy to find TH and lots of parking. Prefer this hike in the winter. Not too many people going out but much busier coming back. I extended the hike by taking Monterior and Tate - increased the elevation and miles but not a ton to see

We night hiked this loop starting at just before sunset and finishing about 5 minutes before the park closes at 10. Beautiful views of the city at night, then the moon rose a burning orange before facing into a clear white light to hike by. The wide, flat (ish, still some occasional roots and rocks to watch for) trail made for easy night hiking. the length was just perfect, about 2.5 hours. Saw tiny snakes, huge spiders, and a little orange newt!

My apple watch recorded: 4.7 miles 670 ft elevation gain 1hr 50 min A little longer than the Burr, Graham, and WestRidge trail loop.
