Really nice easy trail. Decent parking right off Avenue of the Giants. It’s an out & back with a small loop in the middle. The green is amazing, trail is mostly flat & lots of creaking old trees! I will say it’s a great trail in Humboldt but definitely keep driving into the park to see the less traveled paths!

Probably the most gorgeous trail we’ve been on in Humboldt. Absolute perfection.

beautiful hike with great perspective of the expansive trees! nature is disturbed a bit by sound of the road, but nothing too radical.

An easy hike but not at all peaceful. The first part of the hike you can hear heavy machinery and crowing roosters from the nearby farms and the second half you just hear highway 101. Personally I would skip this one.

Pretty but the peacefulness suffers at the hand of Highway 101 which is right next to it.

It was really easy to follow and extremely beautiful, I would go earlier in the morning since it is a popular place.

Good walking trail. Pretty flat so you can walk at a good pace. This was our second time on this trail and we will keep this one on our list of trails.

makes you feel like you're in a jurassic forest. giant ferns all around. sun dappled greenery. tranquil. some of them are as big as a person. the ranger recommended this trail to me as her personal favorite, and i would agree that it's the best trail in the park. enchanting atmosphere. also found a nice ditch to pee in in privacy. prioritize this trail! you can eat at the trailhead at the tables/benches, but pee at the visitor center or at founders trailhead, which isn't far away. no bathrooms here. for dinner we ate at myers flat, at the south end of the park. been on tons of hikes in my life, and this is definitely one of the best. the park is closed right now due to all the fires; i sure hope this trail doesn't burn up because that would be a huge shame.
