Lost Grove is among the densest concentrations of giant sequoias in Sequoia National Park. The Lost Grove Trail parallels the Dorst Creek drainage to the grove. The Generals Highway bisects Lost Grove.

Other than Dorst Creek and a few nice meadows you can't see much because of the many trees. I did fine the trail interesting and easy to follow. The NPS lists this as an un-maintained trail on the map at the trailhead. The other recording is for the Muir Grove trail
