Beautiful view at the top. There are no trees so bring your hats. It’s a quick 1 mile hike up then you can move around or come right back

Perfect for a quick morning hike with the kids. It's all dried grass during the summer, but cows are out and about.

It's short hike to get to the best view of the Trivalley area. As others mentioned in the review, we can see the bay, San Francisco, Mount Diablo, Brentwood, Tracy, Livermore, etc in one panoramic view. It is kid-friendly as well.

Whether you enjoy this trail or not really depends on what you came looking for. For me, I hike to get away from civilization. If you too go out to be surrounded by nature, look to the many other regional parks(Morgan territory, Sunil, brushy peak,...). For most of this trail you have the eye sore of suburban sprawl that Dublin carved into the foothills. It gets a bit better if you follow the ridge trail past the neighborhood, but not good enough to make it a redo.

An easy trail that can be overrun with people and dogs. We went a mile further to see a bunch of cows up close. Overall, a nice trail for a quick outing.

Super dry grasses this fall, but they keep it short so you can avoid stickers and such. Bay area views with minimal effort are unparalleled.

A surprising treat! From the point you can see east to the Altamont windmills, north to Mt. Diablo, and west clear to San Francisco!

Fairly easy. There were a few cows at the beginning. It’s at an incline the whole way but a really pretty view once you’re at the top. Lots of cow poop.

I loved it! I even brought my stroller with me! I wouldn’t recommend bringing your stroller if you don’t have a jogger. The beginning of the trail is gravel so it’s easy with a stroller but to get to the top took a little maneuvering but it’s do-able! It would be perfect for running! Gorgeous once you get to the top!

Not much nature to see on this trail, if that’s what you’re looking for. We went in October and the grass was dry and brown. Amazing views at the top and along the way. We saw baby cows too. Short and easy enough for kids. I’d go again!

Gentle uphill to a small loop and back down. Just a dirt road with no trees. I did see another trail that forked off. Took a cute calf pic. Don't bother.
