Great peaceful walk with a great view of the wetlands. Enough room for social distancing and most people wearing masks.

Nice easy trail, basically all flat. At one point of the trail you do have to maneuver yourself around rocks. Bike trails available. No trash can until the endpoints Only some shade at certain points from the trees and bridge. Some parts of the wetlands were nice but other parts do emit a smell and you can see a lot of trash, sadly. We also unfortunately saw a duck that had a baby ring stuck around this neck and it was burrowing into its mouth.

Cool trail. Wetlands were dope to look at. Good shade when you’re headed south. Did see a raccoon so keep your eyes peeled. Good park for kids when COVID is over.

This was beautiful! So much better than expected based on other reviews. We did see one small homeless tent. A large river in the middle with lots of animals and wildflowers blooming this time of year. Very little shade - mostly sun, which is great for some!

Quick nice trail. 2 miles in. Got hot as hell real fast, but I got it in with a friend. Just be aware of surroundings other then that enjoy a good sweat!

A good 2 mile walk loop, some parts with road and some parts with gravel and sandy trail. Wish the city would do a better job of keeping it clean. Small up and down slopes. Great for beginners.

This cute little path surprised me. It was nice and although a few smelly parts was a good walk close to our house.

Nice, easy walk. The trail is by the riverbed, so if that makes you uneasy for whatever reason, make sure to bring a buddy.

Nice nature trail in urban part of Long Beach. Easy walking path. My wife was skeptical @ parking but I wasn't concerned.

It's a good walking trail, except for the nauseous odors, I don't think I'll come back

It’s an overall good trail for a quick run although there are many detours you have to make to go back to were you started, there is some trash here and there but it’s a good small trail to talk a short walk , I would recommend to go with a family member, friend, or to take your dogs for a quick walk, but do not leave them without a leash!

This 2.4 mile walk around the wetlands is full of birds, turtles, squirrels and lizards. Lots of greenery. We was there on a cloudy morning day which made for a perfect experience. There are a few transients roaming around the area and trash in some locations. Other than that I would recommend this for the whole family and the dogs.

I did not enjoy this walk. The area made me uncomfortable, I was worried someone would break into my car. I don’t feel comfortable bringing my son here. I’m not going back.

Brisk morning loop with the natives. Hummingbirds, herons, mallards, dogs, and country club tee offs all waking up! Great decomposed granite (dg)/asphalt trails! No horses out but plenty of tie offs available. ***Bring your own dog bags***

Walking

If you're looking to do a walk or jog to get the blood pumping within an urban landscape than this is a decent trail. But not so much for those that are looking for a more nature scene. There's a lower "trail" that follows along the marsh that can be picturesque when there's water. The biggest minus was the amount of homeless all along the trail. Be extremely careful!
