Cool trail. Be in shape! Says mtn bike but we saw some strugglers! Narrow and rocky parts. Head towards beach first instead of along 73.

Nice views from Rattlesnake trail. Bring plenty of water, this is a hot hike with no shade!

Free parking. Nowhere near civilization. Good, wide trails in great shape. Numerous routes and maps everywhere.

It's too closed to civilization. The view from the top was okay.

Great hike, rattlesnake trail can be challenging. did the hike in February after heavy rains, created more challenge with the mud, Probably would rather deal with mud than heat, start early to avoid heat no cover.

This trail starts off as the same spot as the Boomer Ridge trail, but you head to the right and take off down the trail and down is right. The trail starts off high in the parking lot and the takes you down No Name Ridge, 2.5 miles away to a amazing view point of the Pacific Ocean & PCH.

The hike back up No Name Ridge will kill you with a some 732 ft climb. I want to return to this trail at an earlier time so I can check out the other part of the loop.

This probably rates as hard. Especially at midday with no water nor shade available. Some steep areas with pebbles where it would be easy to slip. Lots of up and down once you're past the first mile. Seems mostly uphill on the way back if you are traveling clockwise from the start. Did it with my ten year old who seemed to fare better than I did.

Nice views of the ocean but the elevation ups and downs were pretty gnarly. There were some sections that were quite steep for an extended period of time. Go early because there is no shade but being near the ocean, it was nice and overcast for my whole hike. Free parking on the street near the start of the trail.
