Extremely steep, very sunny, mostly paved except for the little path up to the vantage point. Took me less than half an hour but certainly got the blood pumping and the sweat flowing. The views are amazing, from the peak you have a great 360-degree view of the whole valley. Seems to be pretty steady traffic but most people were pretty good about keeping distance, although I only saw two other people wearing masks. Saw lots of tiny lizards today but no tarantulas.

Paved hike up a steep hill, great for short high-intensity workouts.

Don’t bother taking the other portion of the loop up to the paved trail since the trail is overgrown and you do not need to to get verified. Paved trail so easy with a stroller if needed.

Definitely a tough incline with the stroller but absolutely worth it when you get to the top and get a great workout in! Took us about 30 minutes total. Happy I did this one!

Perfect for a stroller workout since it’s paved. Opportunity to spot rabbits, roadrunners, and a variety of birds. It’s a quick and very conveniently located hike. A lot of the regulars go up and down several times for a more intense workout. Gorgeous 360* view from the top (a short climb up from where the pavement ends.)

This was a quick but steep paved road that lead to a great view of Thousand Oaks. Once you get to the top, go to the left side of the fence and up the side there is a bench to sit and enjoy the view.

This is not Dawn's Peak. It's Tarantula Hill. It's a short hike for a nice 360 degree view of the valley.
