I read a lot of reviews and this isn’t a joke there is a waterfall at the end almost 1.1 miles in very minor amount of climbing trail is easy to follow. Would recommend for something unique in Death Valley

this is such a neat hike because you start out in the desert and end up in an oasis!

Easy hike to the waterfall, a few small creek crossings and a little rock scrambling. The drive down is on a dirt road, but the hike itself is 2 miles total from the trailhead.

Nice easy walk back to falls for most of the way. A few rocks or climbing of boulders to do along the way toward the end, which kids would like and I found fun but I wouldn’t do this in sandals. Still enough of. A hike to wear sneakers at least. The falls are pretty. The greenery is shocking for DVNP. I loved all the butterflies along the trail! At one point I stopped and they were everywhere!!

Did this in July!! 106’ just about lost my wife. She is not a great hiker but she was game. Not a tough hike, a lot of water crossing and rock climbing. The reward is the waterfall at the end. Enjoy!

A bit of an oasis as far as the Death Valley region is concerned. Not too traveled and quiet.

Was a nice trail but be cautious with crossing the stream paths. Be sure to wear proper shoes. Rocks can be slippery. Kids will be fine. It’s beautiful. There is a waterfall but it is not recommended for swimming.

Pretty great easy hike to the first fall. Little tricky to the second fall. But worth the view.

First and foremost, don't expect a big waterfall. But it is a rewarding hike, especially in the middle of a desert like landscape. There is considerable rock climbing and slick and slippery rock terrain to navigate. But it is worth it.

Nice trail. The water from Darwin falls wash is used in Panamint city. The plumbing that you hike beside is a bit of an eye sore and a little distracting from the scenery, specially since it leaks in various spots. But other than that it was a pleasant hike with a great payoff at the falls.

Excellent trail, does have a good bit of rock scrambling and stream hopping at the end to reach the falls but totally worth it!
