Very fun. Did this trail with my 10yo son for the first time in Jan 2020. $10 parking fee, CASH req at parking. There is an intimidating part, right at the beginning, but don't turn back... the rest of the trail is great... scenic, easy to moderate technical, fast parts, super rocky parts, COWS!, cow poop! Shady, seasonal brook/streams. Flowers... Very fun. I'd recommend you keep your eye on the temperature here. January afternoons we're so perfect. But that won't be the case in May thru summer!

I’ve only done the first few miles but my dog and I love this trail! It features beautiful views and even runs along the old salmon falls road (leading to the old bridge) if you can spot the disappearing asphalt. Nice mixture of terrain as well.

This is a long hike but it is very beautiful. Lots of black oak trees through the rolling hills.
