Not exactly easy! Lots of climbing but very nice hike.
Did the loop, using the Tri peaks trail.... it was borderline Rocking climbing and i LOVED it and VERY easy to lose the trail make sure you have the App working. VERY dangerous place to lose the trail
Just tried to do this trail and discovered it was closed. Sign said closed from Jan. 12 thru Feb. 1. Did it after the big rains a couple week ago and there were some pretty big ruts and gouges from run off. It was nice to actually see a little water at the water fall.
this is not so much a destination as it is more a resting point before heading up the hidden trail to Boney Peak. you need to hike over 2 ridges to get here and since the fires its mostly barren burned out until you hit the downward slope into the Danielson monument.
if you want to hit Boney Peak find the trail that goes by the chimney and get it on.
wax on wax off Danielson.
