It was everything I wanted it to be...a little bit challenging, water, cave, time with my 4yo.

mostly rocks! Still nice and because of the slow pace and rocks you can wear those useless heavy hiking boots you bought

High tide and low sun prevented me from making to the beach. There’s a cave and at the end that was filling with waves so I Chickened out swimming alone at the end. Out and back it is.

Free parking, there are restrooms. When the tide is low, this is a great and beautiful ankle twister hike. With a tunnel at the end. If you are brave to get your feet wet and make it to the other side? Not necessary cause this trail ends right before it anyway.

This was a good hike. There are beautiful views of the ocean and lots of shade. It's one way and then you have to turn around and come back. Check the tide, if it's high tide, some of the trail is not accessible. Wear sturdy shoes, it mostly loose rocks and sand.

This is just a walk along the beach that ends in a neat cave. Rocky. I liked it. Obviously great views.

Pretty easy but rocky so watch your step. bit of graffiti along the trail and at the caves. Be sure to check out the tide pools on the way for wildlife. We saw crabs, fish, sea slugs, mussells, and anemones!

Easy relaxing

Rocky. Check the tides. Glad I brought my trekking poles, made it a breeze, even w my toddler pack. Sunny, be mindful. Cool experience, no real inclination to head back though. Might be a fun/quick outing again in a couple three years.

I love the part of the hike that's in the refuge on the hill. Otherwise, I wasn't really feeling it. I'm more of a deep-in-the-forest hiker haha. But it really is beautiful and you'll definitely spot some wildlife out and about.

This was a decent trail. I suppose the moderate rating stems from the rugged terrain. If you're not bothered by knee/ankle issues tho it's a fairly easy walk. Not much incline at all. Making sure you're stepping an rocks that's won't move when you step on them was the biggest challenge. Loved the cave at the end!!! That was AWESOME!!!

Great hike with the kid!!

It is more rocky beach walk than trail, dicey footing- slow going to avoid twisted ankles. It was pretty, but there are better beach trails nearby.

Easy hike. Right along the beach and the cave was very cool at the end. Lots of rocks. Wear good shoes. Best to go during low tide.

Pretty rocky, but beautiful hike. Definitely make sure you go at low tide. Beautiful cave at the end. Did this hike with my 4 year old and almost 2 year old. My husband had to carry the little one the entire way. Definitely good to have a carrier. The 4 year old could manage.

safe trail, awesome view!

Nice little trail that ends at a sea cave! Make sure you check tidal charts, as trail is under water at high tide. Lot of rock scrambling!

So beautiful, and who doesn't love having such easy access to the beach!? :)

A gentle walk over sand and rocks. Fantastic tide pools. Ideal and 5 stars if you have children...a fun family learning experience.. Some very fun caves.

Great for family, not such a hard walk but, it's not so fun when the tide is high.

Fun beach and the harbor is better. Lots to see and explorer. Makes for a great family day.

Absolutely love this hike - but it can be hell on your joints. Either you're walking on soft sand or over wobbly rocks, but you really cannot beat the views. So beautiful! Just remember to look up once in awhile.
