Dana Point Beach Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Dana Point, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
It is more rocky beach walk than trail, dicey footing- slow going to avoid twisted ankles. It was pretty, but there are better beach trails nearby.
Easy hike. Right along the beach and the cave was very cool at the end. Lots of rocks. Wear good shoes. Best to go during low tide.
Pretty rocky, but beautiful hike. Definitely make sure you go at low tide. Beautiful cave at the end. Did this hike with my 4 year old and almost 2 year old. My husband had to carry the little one the entire way. Definitely good to have a carrier. The 4 year old could manage.
safe trail, awesome view!
Nice little trail that ends at a sea cave! Make sure you check tidal charts, as trail is under water at high tide. Lot of rock scrambling!
So beautiful, and who doesn't love having such easy access to the beach!? :)
