Fun and easy trail. Drove in 2 wheel front to back. Light on wildlife, just a few squirrels here and there and a Cal King Snake. Small water crossing twice but East to drive through. The view up top was nice and plenty of pull offs to stretch the legs or walk a bit. I highly recommend this trail for beginners. I would have added another star if it was longer

I don't think you can consider this a trail, it's a road, passes homes and three cars drove by me. So I turned around

Parked c 1/4 up from junction w Santa Rosa creek road, hiked c 2.7 miles in from the south to a creek crossing, then back out. In a wet March it was stunning - wildflowers, views, quiet canyons. It’s a straightforward hike up to the ridge and down as far as you want to go. I imagine it would be brutal in the summer.

It was a nice easy drive that cars could easily do with out bottoming out. Private property surrounded it and didnt see the campgrounds.

The road was fun to drive on and there was a small creek to hang out at. The trail is surrounded by private property, so you can't really deviate from the main road or explore at all. You can drive this road in any passenger car, for even a stock truck this will just feel like a road with some dirt on it. Still had a good time, just was hoping for some more bouncing around or rocks to drive over.

The trail was good, rated as easy, but still enough to give your tires and shocks a workout. Road is some what paved to a point but plenty of dirt road to get your ride dirty. Some scenic spots to stop and take pictures. As of this review there is construction happening deep into the trail but there is a detour given however the trail is not a "thru road". The trail will end in a split one going to paso and the other to cambria beach, my advice go during the day possibly on the weekend.

Single lane most of the time with blind corners so be careful. Beautiful views and well worth the trip.
