A bit buggy, last part (1/2) mile is NOT easy, as stated NY others. positives are plenty of wildflowers in the meadows, and great views from the ridge.

Went up Crows Nest trail to the top ridge then went right over to Rowton Peak then down Razorback, Jack’s Jump, back over to Crows Nest trail. Nice loop. Beautiful wildflowers and LOTS of mosquitoes. Recommend insect repellent. Great scenery, good trail signs and many other trails for exploring. Saw many other people hiking, biking and participating in a race.

I set out on this trail thinking it would be easy. Maybe I’m out of shape but the last 0.4 miles was a doozie. Took me about 2 hours and 45 minutes round trip. It was beautiful! I was unable to find the Tupperware to sign at the top but made for an amazing day.
