Good little hike. If you take all the trails you can almost double it .Some are rough winter cow trails along the perimeter of the park with large holes and you have to watch for snakes and ticks on these.

Short hike. Uneven trail but a good hike to get the heart pumping. Not much shade cover.

Morning was still a nice cool 54° in July today. I did the Crane Creek loop as a trail run. Pretty short morning run, 1.4 miles. I had forgotten how rocky the top of the hill is. The main trail around the top of the park is so rocky that there is a high risk of turning your ankle if you are running, but walking is fine. Lower trails by the creek are flatter and better for running. Maintenance crews are out cutting the tall grass and keeping trails clear, doing a great job. Instagram @marcomoore

Cute regional park. Great for kids, except that ticks can be a real issue here in the spring and summer, so be sure to tick-check afterward. Poison oak as well. Views are nice, and there are many older oak and buckeye trees for shade and picnicking. Check out the creek for splashing and playing when it's reasonably safe and low. A friend said he found an arrowhead there a few years ago.

Love this place for a quick nature fix and to watch the sunset I try to come at least once a week. Park is part of Sonoma county regional parks, parking is 7.00 or you can get a pass for 69.00 that can be used at all the regional parks for a year from purchase; I usually make my 69.00 back in less than 2 months

the trail is beautiful, there's actually other trails that connect to this trail and creates a longer loop. I hiked here with my dog on 07/14/18 and I ended up finding 3 ticks crawling on me but luckily none of them actually attached to me. My dog on the other hand, had 2 ticks attached to her, so I would be very careful. The trail also has moderate traffic and not lightly trafficked like the description says. Other than that, the trail was beautiful and scenic! If you're in the Santa Rosa area, I definitely recommend it!

This park was better before the cows. It’s soggy, torn up and you have to watch for frisbees. New electric fence is quite the eyesore.

Follow the signage. Pretty hike but not crystal clear! Some pretty wine country footage for good photos. Great place for a dog walk!
