Hike or bike the beautiful coastline from Tennessee Valley to Muir Beach. Coyote Ridge climbs up to 1000' for great views over the headlands and the Pacific Ocean.

Once you get close to the ridge that is near the water, the trail is closed. We carried on a bit anyways, but it gets a bit hairy. In the end we turned around, headed over to the other side of the beach and hiked around there. It was a good hike but not the original plan at all.

Such a fun trail, and aptly named. Hawks, coyote, and bobcat are common trail partners. If you know the right lookout spot, you can even see an old cast iron bath tub that some pranksters left behind many years ago. Be warned that the trail is single track and plentiful with ticks!

Windy, wide road - can hardly call it a trail. Good workout but probably will not do this one again.
