The garden gates are opened today but the nearby restrooms are not, so plan accordingly. Lovely and easy walking trail for the young and old. There are nice benches and shaded area to rest.

I usually do this as part of my daily run. Great short trail, but remains closed since Ventura county lockdown started. Hope to see this open again soon.

Short enjoyable mini hike. Plenty of shade, I enjoyed the different garden areas but unfortunately when I went in August 2019 most things were dried out. I did not see anything that said no dogs so I brought my dogs. When you get to the top the view is nice and I like how they have all the cacti up there very cute set up.

Short and easy 1 mile hike which is perfect for younger kids. We started at the kid’s adventure park which is only open on Sundays from 11am-3pm. Trail ends at a big playground which is good for all ages.

Had a great time walking through the garden with family. There is a playground and picnic tables to enjoy lunch after a walk.

A pleasant, easy hike that takes you from a south-looking vista, to a heavily wooded creek, and more. Along the way there are, of course, interesting botanicals.

This is a lovely walk up from the children's playground at Dover/Hendrix. There are lots of benches at the top of the hill and even some nice picnic areas. The stunning giant white Matilija poppies are in full bloom now and the cactus garden was quite impressive. There are lots of areas to explore and quite a variety of plants. I look forward to coming back soon.
