Easy trail along the river. It was a very foggy day so didn't see the mountains around us but the river was full and beautiful. Saw dear and Marmots along the way. Walked back on mineral king road.

This little hike will take you from Cold Springs campground to the Mosquito/Eagle Lakes trailhead. Short hike but there are a lot of great views on this trail!

This is a short, fun, easy hike that starts at the Cold Springs campground. The terrain is easy and the elevation incline is very mild. Great for all ages and abilities. If you're looking for a quick scenic walk, this is a great trail. The trail head starts right in the Cold Springs campground. Note: If you want more of a challenge, you can connect this trail with the hike to Eagle or Mesquite lake. I connected this trail with the hike up to Eagle Lake which added an additional 6.8 miles to the trip. The terrain is much more difficult as is the elevation, however, you connect both trails and do it in a day depending on your ability.
