Cold Springs Nature Trail is a 2.3 mile out and back trail located near Sequoia National Park, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from June until October.
This little hike will take you from Cold Springs campground to the Mosquito/Eagle Lakes trailhead. Short hike but there are a lot of great views on this trail!
This is a short, fun, easy hike that starts at the Cold Springs campground. The terrain is easy and the elevation incline is very mild. Great for all ages and abilities. If you're looking for a quick scenic walk, this is a great trail. The trail head starts right in the Cold Springs campground.
Note: If you want more of a challenge, you can connect this trail with the hike to Eagle or Mesquite lake. I connected this trail with the hike up to Eagle Lake which added an additional 6.8 miles to the trip. The terrain is much more difficult as is the elevation, however, you connect both trails and do it in a day depending on your ability.
Beautiful, easy hike near the campground. Great for kids.
