No reward. At the beginning you need to find a way to cross the small creek. You then ascend up the very overgrown trail. It clears but is currently muddy. I always feel awkward walking through or around private residences. If you’re looking to see something this trail isn’t it, you have a view of the ridge with homes but that’s all. At the middle of the loop don’t cross the road, there is a trail on the other side but it’s separate. You follow the loop following the road. There are many other ‘private trails’ that may or may not lead to the main trail, just stay on the main trail. Again, not much to see. It would be a good running trail or horse trail. -Verified Completed-

Nice convenient walk with birdseye views of east Montecito. Only one other hiker on Sunday noon, so not as busy as overview suggests.
