Decent run, all the elevation gain is in the first two miles. We ran it mid morning and had moderate shade on the climb however on the way down and then back you're exposed almost the whole time. Lastly, the downslope is on the trail Rough Go. Loads of rocks to trip over, if you're not super coordinated you might wanna walk it to avoid a serious fall. Not my favorite run in the area, but it's a decent workout without having to empty the tank.

Definitely not kid friendly. My 8 year old had to push his bike for half of the trail due to so many rocks. It should only be attempted by an Intermediate adult.

good first 3.5 miles with a walk on asphalt for the last mile.

Beautiful first 2 or 3 miles with nice views. Ended up walking the last mile or so on the road in the sun though.

Don't go if it's toasty out. There's very limited shade spots so it's direct sun. Make sure to wear sun screen!! Otherwise gorgeous trail absolutely loved it

Only strenuous for about 10-15 minutes then the trail flattens out for the rest of the hike. There's a beautiful view but it was ultimately a little underwhelming.

Trails weren't marked very clearly so we veered off course a bit.

Needs better signage but beautiful trail, moderate grade up and easy down.

Trails are not clearly demarcated. At the Cobblestone and Orchard trail junction, it would help to have a trail sign indicating where Cobblestone trail continues. Otherwise a great activity.
