A beautiful hike in the Coastal Headlands. This loop has some of the most breathtaking vistas in the state. Bring your camera and plenty of water.

Great SF Bay , GG Bridge, SF Downtown, valley views. Well maintained trails, not much shade overall. Strong wind at Costal SCA junction. NOTE: near SW corner of the loop, the connection between Rodeo Valley and Coastal Trail as shown on this map, is not passable. We back tracked to Smith Trail and walked on Bunker Rd eastward to pick up Costal Trail on Bunker Rd.

Great views. First leg is killer but otherwise great hike.

Crazy rain and fog today but beautiful views I'm sure. Steep climbs! Good trail run on the way back down.
