We enjoyed the views from this trail. Some areas are a little steep but we never had to take our vehicle out of 4 high. In fact I would take any 2 wheel drive SUV or pick up on this trail

Easy trail to go thru in any kind of truck. Drove in through the south Big Sur entrance and came out by Bixby Bridge. Plenty of great views along the way!

We entered Coast Rd just north of the Andrew Molera State Park. There is no gate there. We drove in about 7 miles and then turned around because we weren’t sure if the exit would be gated. It was a great opportunity to go off reading.

Beautiful view but the gate was closed and locked very well with private property signs all over the fence. I did not even see a path for bikers or hikers.

The road is open to bicycles and hikers per Andrew molera state beach ranger January 2018.
