Nice steady climb. Great on a pt cloudy fall day. Views are incredible. Little overgrown in spots some poison oak in the canyon near the trail. Pet friendly on leash

Really impressed with this spot. Steady incline so pleasant the entire way. Beautiful paths and gorgeous views. The two chairs and bench at the top was a fun find. There are a lot of bees along the path, they don’t bother you but the sound could drive you a bit crazy :) My 4 month old pup was a champ on the hike! Just remember to pick up after your dogs! There was a lot of poop on the path :(

Started the trail at 6am exactly. At a moderate pace, we got to the top of the chairs in 2 hours. Super fun overgrown switchbacks. We used hiking sticks for the first time and it was definitely a boost for this trail. The view on top of the chairs was pretty awesome. Do be mindful as they there are actual homes and private property right by where the chairs are located. If you are thinking of coming, bring trash bags and help clean up the parking lot area. Some hikers are clearly indifferent and leave their trash everywhere. Definitely bring a breakfast sandwich so that you can enjoy it while sitting in the chairs. We were the only ones on this trail this morning so that was a huge plus. The sun wasn’t a factor at all. Would definitely love to come back to it with a crew of hikers so we can clear up this trail.

Pretty awesome trail and views. Very little shade and a little overgrown. Easy to follow. Only thing I didn’t like was houses are being built near trail. Kinda ruins it.

Quite over grown trail with ruts that are over a foot deep in some areas. Would not reccomend for children or dogs as they could easily get hurt. Lots of fresh animal scat, looked to be bobcat or coyote.

Love this easy trail. I assume it is not very popular since I have not seen other hikers on my route. Overgrown plants are covering certain parts of the trail. Heard only two snakes compared to the many heard at other trails. I recommend, plan your hikes early to avoid heat and snakes which tend to come out with the sun.

This is a dangerous hike. Not because it’s difficult, it’s actually rather easy. It’s the rattlers that are all around the trail. We were able to hear them as soon as we got in the trail. That combined with the overgrowth made it for a very stressful hike. I’m thinking about going back up just to clear it. It may take all day, but it needs it.

We started our hike at 9am and glad we didn’t wait any later as it warmed up pretty quickly. The trail is very overgrown and some of the plants growing over the trail have stickers. Recommend long sleeves and long pants. Didn’t have difficulty finding the trail and didn’t see any snakes, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there... Love this hike!

no stairs to the chairs - needed to scramble on the boulder - new bench to view at the very end of the trail - beautiful view - overgrown plants from the long season of rain - enjoyable hike

Fun hike! The chairs at the top made it all worth it. The first half of the hike is overgrown with Bees. Still worth it!!
