HikingGreat!

Easy trail if you will start at gate4 . I started from Catalina verdugo trail so I consider it easy-moderate. I saw a lot of kids hiking with parents. Nice view

Fun trail. Medium challenge. Good for dogs. Little water. Views ok of surrounding areas. No bugs. No shade.

MOUNTAIN BIKERS, PLEASE be more cautious around curves. One guy flew around, skidded on his brakes and was literally inches away from barreling into me! Other than that, it was a great, easy, relaxing trail.

This is a pretty decent hike with nice wide trails - I also liked how it goes up and down in elevation, so it shakes things up from your average "up and down" hike. The satellite attenae at the top of Cerro Negro are cool and I'd suggest doing the detour to "The Ultimate Destination," which gives some great views of the valley.

Nice wide trail, very exposed though. It felt hot as soon as the sun peeked out around 6. Trail maintenance definitely has come through and the trail is no longer overgrown. Lots of different routes around so can be confusing, and was thankful to have my app. But would be a great place to regularly explore.

HikingOver grown

Arrived early in the morning with thick fog. Trail is overgrown in spots and there is quite a bit of poison oak along the trail including one spot where it hangs over the trail and is easy to come in contact with. Lots of trail off shoots so I suggest keeping All Trails on so you can keep track of your direction and progress. Good hike but for reasons stated above I take a few stars away.

Great on an overcast day- otherwise there’s no shade. Nice entry point to cherry canyon as well. Less popular!

Maybe I took the wrong turn, or didn’t do the right “loop” but this was super disappointing as Mountain Biker. Lots of foot traffic, open fire road style ride. Short, no real challenge to it. Don’t think I’ll ever do this one again.

Nice hike. Not too busy on Sunday morning. Most people were social distancing pretty well.

Starts out on a fire road but turns into a trail behind some homes. Keep your AllTrails map handy because it is a maze of trails in there. The mountain bikers love this spot.

this was a relatively easy hike there's a lot of different Trails you can take off the main one so I imagine we'll be going back again. be sure to bring water and we have entered this trail from at least two different places but it's nice and convenient because it's so close to home. we did this hike in June

Nice loop, but difficult in summer due to lack of shade.
