3.0 miles of nothing but an non-stop uphill hike. Views are worth the hike. Beginners beware.
Very windy today. Beautiful nonetheless. Morning hike is best as the sun is intense later on, and you can walk towards the sun but behind the hills as your shade. At the peak of the hike, I went down a little further to the “Old Youth Camp” with the derelict chimney and foundation of the lodge that used to stand there—what an artifact of the 1940s.
Steady incline, trail is easy to follow, and the path is wide most of the way. Also, zero shade.
Great trail with lots of views of the surrounding area. The trail was wide enough as to go by others safely which is great for runners. The steady incline to the end of the trail, not so great haha. Fun for running back though!
Не плохой хайк, красивые виды. Встречаются кайоты, есть знаки о горных кошках.
The air was pretty warm even at 6am. Would highly advise doing this trail early morning or late evening cause it’s way too hot.
4 stars because views are pretty good and nice wide path. There are branch off single tracks that I saw many people taking as well. No shade, but some “coverage” before 8am.
