Great!No shadeRocky

This is a good hike for all skill levels. There are clear paths for beginners and some not so obvious paths that increase the difficulty (and fun). There is a path that takes you straight up the crescent shaped face but its very steep and the dirt is extremely loose so only take this if you are confident in your abilities. At the top you have an amazing view of the surrounding area and a wonderful place to watch the sunset !

This trail had a little bit of everything. There was quite a bit of trail finding, bushwhacking, boulder scrambling, steep inclines and sketchy descents. At times the trail was rocky, overgrown, sandy, asphalt, wooden decking, and gravel. It helps to have shoes with good grip during the slippery descents down the rock faced slopes that are dusted with sand. Walked through a bunch of spider webs so it helped to have a walking stick to clear the way and to help with the incline and declines. Overall we enjoyed the trail and would do it again.

not sure if they had a machete when they mapped this trail but if you follow the red line exactly. takes you into a bunch if bushes and trails that's impassable. overall a good trail just super confusing cuz there is SO MANY trails in this area. bring water! it gets super hot. rocky and sandy trail

Great hike. Lots of variation. Some deserty, some foresty, lots of different elevation. Not a ton of shade so go early to avoid the full sun. Lots of different trails you can go off on so a trail app is super important to not get lost.

We did this trail on a Friday morning and got very lost! It was very overgrown and hard to stay on the trail. It is very nice that there are so many trails in this area but it was challenging to stay on this route. Needed to have the map open for most of the trail which took away from the ambience of the hike. The peak was pretty busy but the view was lovely.

Decent trail, you park at the church and walk up. You really have to pay attention to the path in the preserve because they criss cross so keep a close eye on your map. Very diverse landscape which is pleasant to hike thru.

Nice and easy trail to get your heart pumping. About a quarter of a mile that is pure incline to the top of the volcano, but other than that fairly flat. Dog and kid friendly. Variety of trails to choose from. Has gotten a lot busier than usual due to Covid.

A nice loop trail with a lake in the middle. Will give you an amazing workout. Lots of hills, with hardly any shade, so wear a hat, sunscreen, go when the temperature is cooler, and bring lots of water.

Overgrown & very difficult to follow trail. Definitely take someone with you, very easy to get off trail & get lost. I was following map on my phone & kept losing connection. Very eroded in many areas & didn’t seem safe to be on. Beautiful otherwise.
