It is a good hike and it has markers along the trail so you won’t get lost. The view from the top is absolutely gorgeous! A must see and very doable!

Took 2 and 4 year old up here. We did most of the walking but it was short enough for them to enjoy it. Views are beautiful. Lots of people but still serene. Easy to leave the path and get your own trail for a while.

Great trail, moderate incline, fairly easy

easy enough to hike and with a little simple rock climbing at the end, a great view of the entire lake from the top of the rock. We have brought kids as young as 12. ideal time is just before sunrise. we have also seen people camp in the crevasse at the top - pretty hard core, but to wake up to the sunrise would be amazing.

Have fun the 1st 1/2 mile, better be in shape. The view is worth it and if you can do a little bouldering then way worth it.

Only rated it a 4 because easy is not accurate for this trail. It's a tough uphill climb but there are lots of places to rest and a wonderful area to explore near the top of you are willing to step off the path a little. Great rock scramble areas and places to sit and have lunch and it over looks the lake. Bring water and something to eat!

Unfortunately this is not an Easy rated hike, moderate for sure, simply because of it's steep climbs at times. Beautiful view however. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great beginner trail. Bring the whole family; including pets. It's that easy. You'll enjoy it.
